Grounded in Evidence. Driven by Impact.

Doctor of Education (EdD) Researcher | Birmingham City University

My speaking, advisory and leadership work is underpinned by rigorous doctoral research exploring educational leadership, organisational systems and equitable outcomes. Every framework I develop and every recommendation I make is grounded in evidence and designed for real-world application.

Research

Research That Matters

Educational Leadership & Equity

Understanding how leadership and organisational structures influence educational opportunity, belonging and long-term outcomes.

Systems, Leadership & Change

Exploring how leaders design organisations capable of adapting, learning and creating sustainable change.

Research, Evaluation & Impact

Developing evidence-informed approaches to evaluating programmes, measuring impact and informing strategic decision-making.

Communities, Policy & Practice

Investigating how policy, communities and organisations interact, ensuring evidence translates into meaningful implementation.

Research Philosophy

“Without evidence, decisions become assumptions. Research turns assumptions into understanding, and understanding into meaningful change.”

Research is more than an academic pursuit; it is the foundation of how I think, speak and advise. It challenges assumptions, strengthens decision-making and ensures that the ideas, frameworks and strategies I develop are grounded in evidence rather than opinion. By bridging the gap between academia and practice, my research helps leaders and organisations make better decisions, build stronger systems and create greater opportunity.

Current Work

Current Doctoral Research

My doctoral research explores how leadership, organisational systems and structural equity influence educational outcomes. By examining the relationship between evidence, policy and practice, this research seeks to understand how organisations can intentionally design systems that expand opportunity and create more equitable outcomes.
